What happens to your information
You acknowledge that information you submit to this site may be supplied to and used by the relevant member(s) of Gavin Tuition to assess and process your application. In addition to the data supplied by applicants, the selection process may involve the supply of further data and Gavin Tuition may obtain data from the applicants or third parties (including referees and public records). To help understand the skills of certain applicants, Gavin Tuition may suggest a personal profile exercise be carried out. All such data will be kept strictly confidential and used by Gavin Tuition for recruitment purposes, but Gavin Tuition may provide and/or transfer such data to any agent, contractor, or third party service provider (or a subsidiary, holding company or related company thereof), who provides administrative, data processing, computer or other services to Gavin Tuition; business partner in connection with the processing of applications for any positions applied for within Gavin Tuition; and any other person(s) reasonably requiring the same, whether located in Singapore or elsewhere, in order for the relevant member(s) of Gavin Tuition to assess and process your application. If such data cannot be obtained, Gavin Tuition may be unable to consider the applicant.
Even if you are not selected for the position for which you apply, we may consider that you have skills and experience that would be of value to the Gavin Tuition. For this reason, if another potentially suitable vacancy exists or subsequently arises, we will contact you to obtain your consent to transfer your application to the relevant Gavin Tuition member for consideration

This is Gavin Tuition Limited’s policy for handling personal data that we receive from job applicants for employment Gavin Tuition and its subsidiaries in Singapore.

the terms “Gavin Tuition”, “we”, “us”, “our” refer to Gavin Tuition Limited and its subsidiaries in Singapore.
For the purposes of these guidelines:
the term “employees” and “employment” relate to full time, part time and temporary employees, contract workers and such other persons who have been permitted by Gavin Tuition to perform duties or functions within Gavin Tuition (including but not limited to interns, consultants, and volunteers.

the term “Human Resources” refers, in relation to a Gavin Tuition entity, to the human resources department or the administration department of the Gavin Tuition entity.
What personal data we collect
“Personal data” is data that can be used to identify a natural person. Examples of your personal data include your name, address, contact details, education background,employment history, references and results of employment checks.
We collect personal data about you and where required, also about other persons, such as your family members, spouse and/or children.
Your provision of personal data to us is voluntary. However, please recognize that if you choose not to provide us with the personal data we require, it may not be possible for us to contact you, process your application and/or consider you for employment.

We collect personal data from you, and use such personal data for the hiring process. This includes (but is not limited to) using the personal data to:

our service providers and agents, including Gavin Tuitions third party recruitment contractors.

During the hiring process, we may obtain further information relating to you from third parties, including character referees and public records. In doing so, we necessarily disclose your personal data to such third parties.
We may also collect, use and disclose personal data for other purposes, if required or permitted by law.
By providing us with personal data, you agree to the terms of this policy and you consent for yourself to our collection, use and disclosure of personal data on these terms. If you provide third party personal data to us such as the personal data of your spouse, children and/or family members, by doing so, you confirm that you have obtained their respective consents to our collection, use and disclosure of their personal data on these terms.
Retention of Personal Data
We will retain personal data for a reasonable period in accordance with our legal and business purposes, even if your job application is unsuccessful.
We do not usually retain unsuccessful job applications for more than 2 years.
